What is the Lake Shore West Garden Tour?
The Garden Tour is a day-long community building social event showcasing private gardens in the neighbourhoods of South Etobicoke, Toronto. What makes our tour unique is that it's free to attend and hosted by local homeowners, creating a collection of diverse gardens filled with variety and surprises for the curious.
How to Enjoy the Tour (It's Free!)
- Join us on Saturday June 21, 2025 from 10am to 4pm for a self-guided tour through the beautiful gardens of South Etobicoke.
- Visit registered gardens in Long Branch, Alderwood, New Toronto, and Mimico. See as many or as few gardens as you like - many gardeners will be present to greet you and share stories about their gardens!
- Garden Tour maps and printed brochures will be distributed at participating neighbourhood stores displaying our poster. Check the Garden Tour Info page of our website for a list of store locations.
- Most gardens are within walking distance of each other within neighborhoods. Some locations may require a short drive or bike ride to visit different neighborhoods.
- Enjoy the day and show your appreciation if you'd like - our gardeners have put their hearts into creating these beautiful spaces!
- Leave your comments in garden guest books that you come across in gardens throughout the day!
